A κλ-body does not undergo any engineering or alteration to maintain the natural structure of human IgG. It can mediate effector activities like complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC) and antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) since it shares the same Fc region as a regular antibody. Additionally, it shares a hinge region with a traditional antibody, allowing the antigen-binding sites to be flexible and oriented in the best possible way.
